Thousands of children are abandoned every year in San Antonio. Due to no fault of their own, children are taken from their homes and placed in line for foster care. Many of them have never owned new clothing, shoes, pajamas, or even undergarments. They are frequently taken immediately from their homes with nothing but the clothing on their back.
The DARE TO L♥VE program provides the necessities for these children.
The Rainbow Room collects, stores and distributes these items for the children. We want to help increase the number of donations. Our goal is to bring awareness to the growing number of children that are neglected, YEAR ROUND, by consistently making donations of clothing, shoes, pajamas-whatever is needed.
How can you help?
Donate! We will accept donations year round. Children are neglected year round, not just during the holidays. Drop off your items at the main office. A drop box is located at the main office, available for 24-hour donations.
Need a receipt?
No problem, just call the office at 210-599-7867 or email us at northernhs@gmail.com. We will collect the receipt from the Rainbow Room and send it to you
for your tax purposes.
